Tango Roll '95 - Original Art
This painting depicts the world famous Red Arrows Aerobatic Team of the Royal Air Force. The artist was a pilot in the Team and has painted his view as Red 5, part way through the barrel roll known as Tango. So called because the aircraft form up in a T shape. This manoeuvre was flown during the 1995 display season. The team operate nine British Aerospace Hawk jets.
